Rest of the time I'm usually on cod4! lindy3 10-02-2008, 16:35 thanks i will think a bit more before i do anything thanks for your help bobsyouruncle 10-02-2008, 18:27 dont bother with it. we have set up in the bedroom and its totally rubbish. We only got it for the upgrade to broadband and to get the free homehub and phone. Its ok for the basic freeview channels, and its got that rewind/pause/live tv stuff like the Sky+ box which isn't so bad, dont know about the On Demand stuff though, we dont bother with all that stuff, stick with Sky! chri5 10-02-2008, 20:03 If you can get it for free like I did then go for it. It's a great freeview box with a built in hard drive. Don't bother with the on demand stuff. stonecircle 11-02-2008, 12:25 I agree thats its great as a freeview box and so easy to record the TV or radio but I didn't bother with the On Demand option. drinkingman 11-02-2008, 12:35 If you can get it for free like I did then go for it. It's a great freeview box with a built in hard drive. Don't bother with the on demand stuff. I got it free too. As you say, it's great for Freeview and recording. I like being able to record a whole series with just a couple of button presses. probedb 11-02-2008, 15:51 It's such a shoddy product though. If you switch it on with no internet connectivity it falls over. Then the next time you switch it on and it has a connection it takes the best part of 25 minutes to sort itself out. lindy3 11-02-2008, 16:39 i have freeview on both my dvd and on my tele so i dont think i will bother with vision thanks for your help |
