Kristian 26-02-2005, 12:16 Taskbar is normally at the very bottom of the screen, and will have the "Start" button on it, along with icons for the applications you are using. Cyclone 26-02-2005, 13:10 AOL provides a sanitised proprietery interface to the web. They are a content provider in addition to being an ISP. They are also technically inept, over charging and witless. You wouldn't get anything else with an isp, in fact you'd get less, but it would cost less and probably be a better service. viking 26-02-2005, 13:55 How can i put the date on my pc ? I have the same problem, so what i do is write the date on the screen with a felt tip pen, and then i know the date. Downside is I have to do it every day, works for me (you might need to get some terps to clean the screen though) Kristian 26-02-2005, 14:04 Originally posted by viking I have the same problem, so what i do is write the date on the screen with a felt tip pen, and then i know the date. You can find and download 'freeware' utility programs that will allow you to do it though. poppins 26-02-2005, 20:15 Originally posted by cgksheff Back to your original question, I don't think there is a Windows option to show the date as well as the time. Thank you, and the other two also ! parrotface 26-02-2005, 20:20 The only way I know of to continually display the date under the clock in the notification area - without adding any third party software is : right click system tray > deselect 'lock the taskbar' place mouse at top of system tray and drag system tray higher until the day & date is shown under the clock. Hope this helps poppins 26-02-2005, 21:00 Originally posted by parrotface The only way I know of to continually display the date under the clock in the notification area - without adding any third party software is : right click system tray > deselect 'lock the taskbar' place mouse at top of system tray and drag system tray higher until the day & date is shown under the clock.
