just wondered if anyone knows whats going off on chesterfield road early hours of this morning (1.30am)? just come past meadowhead roundabout and the enterance to chesterfield road towards woodseats is blocked off by "police accident" signs.

must have been serious; the road was closed off and signs put up, when i passed at 2200 last night.

my son saw the accident just happen just before 10 police have got my sons number as a witness but from what he said no one was badly hurt

I noticed that the temprature was below freezing where I live down the road in woodseats early this morning. Meadowhead roundabout is exposed, and prone to ice, and accidents. It is a very dangerous one. Also because it is diamond shaped rather than round, it is also prone to diesel spills, especially as it is close to a filling station.
