Just curious, in Spring/Summer when its hot (not like last summer) would people prefer to train in the outdoors such as a park, rather than train indoors?

View Full Version : Fitness in the park - is there a demand for this? phphilz 08-02-2008, 19:42 Just curious, in Spring/Summer when its hot (not like last summer) would people prefer to train in the outdoors such as a park, rather than train indoors? Just curious go4it 08-02-2008, 20:10 These things are popular in London, military style fitness. I would imagine that it would be more popular in places like Endcliffe Park. Belinkabelle 08-02-2008, 22:31 Ooh, this sounds interesting. Exercise certainly seems to be less of a chore when you're outside. Is this something you're thinking of setting up? What sorts of training are you thinking of? phphilz 09-02-2008, 17:27 Probably a lot of Legs and a stomach/Abs workout. Shuttle running would be easy to set up in a park. Class numbers do tend to drop off in summer, so wondered if training outside would be more favourable, kind off kill 2 birds with 1 stone, fitness and being in the sun. Just seeing at moment what kind of interest there would be. |
