Is it just me? I love it when it rains. Anyone else? Discuss.

Depends what I'm doing. If I'm out cycling or doing some other outdoor exercise then yes it's very nice. Not too nice when you're going from dry to wet but once you're soaked through, can't get any wetter and keeping warm from the exercise it's good. :) I hardly ever play football but on the very rare occasion that I do it's also nice to have a light shower to keep cool with. :)

If it's really heavy pounding rain then I like to be indoors but I love the sound of it, especially when accompanied by a thunder storm. :) The smell outside after a heavy rain storm is great too.

I hate rain but like to watch those thunderstorms when the rain bounces right up in the air off the pavements and roads.

As long as I'm undercover, that is.

Nothing nicer than being snug and dry inside while the rain lashes against the windows, and I just love to hear it when I'm in bed...curse the new double glazing it seems to be the one thing that I can no longer hear through it :suspect:

I love rain but after a few days ofit it gets a touch mindane. I adore a thunderstorm, especially the smell of ozone after a bolt of lightening has landed close by. Thunderstorms on our property in Oz when I was growing up were even better if a gum tree exploded when hit!!

It's not very good for anyone trying to earn a living outdoors.

Thunderstorms are wonderful, I remember when I was little the whole family would stay up and look out of the patio windows, and count the seconds between the thunder, and the lightning.

Oh and we had to unplug everything in the house so that we didnt get electrecuted!

If I've got a tee time booked then it's irritating to say the least :mad:

If however I'm on nights, and it rains all day, then great! Keeps the neighbour's kids inside and the lawnmower in the shed :D

I like the rain ... provided I'm not actually out in it. It's best appreciated from a warm dry position where you can comtemplate it without actually experiencing it.

I like the rain unless i'm out while working and it rains. My Grandma says rain makes you beautiful ,i'm still waiting for it to work but it always makes me smile thinking of that while walking in the rain ;)

It's a bit weird that so many others love it too though, thought I was one of just a few.

Love the sound of rain on the conservatory roof...reminds me of caravan holidays in Scotland!

I do like the rain, hearing it on the windows, looking all gloomy and grey outside - makes for a lovely, snug day inside the house relaxing, chilling out and doing things you like, like baking nice things etc.

I like thunderstorms too when it's loud and really tipping it down. As long as i'm at home though. :thumbsup:
