I need to hire a van to move - according to a nice man I asked - I need a LWB transit van. Can anyone recommend anywhere reasonably priced for my meagre budget?

Have you tried Arnold Clark's on Burngreave Road - I know they have some "Luton" vans (I think that's what they are called).

I can recommend Arnold Clark's. I hired from them about 3 months ago. They do a service where you can hire a van for 4 hours, which I made use of.

It cost me £22 for 4 hours and they put the fuel in.

Hunt out the independents with older vans for a real bargain. Okay for local moves, but steer clear if your going further afield (the breakdown cover is usually required and minimal)
