I went and bought a big reel of end of line material from fabric shop in hillsborough. Cost me £24.00 to do 17 tables and the buffet bar and then £6 for 6 metres of fabric to do table runners...its gonna take me a few days to cut it down and then a few days for my mum to sew hems onto it but in the end thats £30 for table cloths and runners instead of bertween £40 and £120 for just the table clothes. The material is lovely too.

Its just depending on whether you want to spend time doing it :)

my fiancé and i are getting married in a couple of weeks and are looking for simple cream / white tablecloths for:

9x tables, each at 2' x 4', floor drop length -- not sure of table height
12x tables, each at 2' x 6', floor drop length -- not sure of table height

any advice on hiring / buying fabric / seamstresses / etc.? thanks so much!
