Hi,

I need to register in the region of 10 .co.uk domains and 1-2 .com domains for a project I'm working on. I'm wondering which is the cheapest place to do it? I've found http://www.123-reg.co.uk/ can do .co.uk domains for £6.09 for two years which is ok, but cheaper would be better!!!

Thanks!

Grant

Yahoo are apparently selling their .uk domains at a loss, so may as well use them...

I used www.easily.co.uk and found them very good

The only thing I'd say is that ensure that there are no hidden extras in the price if you should wish to transfer the domain away form the people you register with.

Sometimes the ones that have the cheapest purchase prices have these hidden extras - so watch it.

I use ukreg.com - dunno whether they're the cheapest but it's only a few quid a throw, pretty cheap, and relatively easy to reconfigure domains online any time you want (unlike some ISPs I've been saddled with in the past)

I'd recommend Glossop Networks http://www.glasstop.net/

Yes. For one, make sure you get a written confirmation of the renewal price.

I bought a .COM years ago and they promised me the renewal after two years would be "the same price or lower" of my £20 registration.

Two years later they tried to sting me for £60 renewal. After threats and sending a copy of the letter it was done for £20, and subsequently £20 again recently.
