Still think Chelsea will win the Premiership, and possibly one cup too.

They are a better team than Liverpool, and also have better individual performers. Probably the only player who would make it into Chelsea's first team on a regular basis would be Gerrard.

Funny, after seeing Chelsea lose 2 matches on the trot..
How you all lose faith in them.

Funny that.

Liverpool 1-0 up at the minute also!!
****n brilliant.

AND also we are now 6 points behind and they have to play us at OT and arsenal as well... LMAO

Dont you just love football.

Still, even if they do go on to lose against Liverpool and get knocked out by Barcelona, they will still win the premiership. I hope so anyway, it would be nice to see someone else win the league for a change.

We are 6 points behind and we are the form team.

They will lose to us and to arsenal.. thats 6 points lost right there.
All we gotta do is keep it up at the minute and its ours.

Chelsea have a game in hand.

Both Man U and Chelsea are up against the same group of opponents for the remainder of the season, so it is difficult to say who will drop points and where.

Yes, Chelsea still have Arsenal (at home) and Man U (away) to play, but I don't think they will lose both games.

Well to say chelsea managed to get through into extra time thanks to stevie gerrard - I hope they are very happy with winning their mickey mouse cup.

What was Mourinho upto having a go at the liverpool fans?
AND I would have loved to see him at the end shaking hands with gerrard - and possibly slipping something into his back pocket.. ie: a grand or more and saying see you in the summer.

Just maybe.. perhaps.

It will be interesting to see if steven decides to swap his red shirt for a blue one this summer-- quite possibly now I would have thought.

I think that if Gerrard leaves,he will go abroad. I really can't See him playing for Chelsea now.

PS. I'm gutted!

Yep- its still a mickey mouse cup whoever wins it.
Be it us- liverpool, chelsea or whoever.

It does not compare to the FA Cup- never ever will.

So to see chelsea win it and then not to win anything else will be brilliant for me this year!

LOL!!

A trophy is a trophy. Chelsea were going all out to win it, so it obviously wasn't mickey mouse to them or their fans. I think you would be whistling a different tune if Man U won it.

Chelsea will be on a high after this, which re-affirms my belief that they will win the premiership, especially since they will be 9 points clear of Man U again soon.

Wait until saturday my friend.
When we will be behind chelsea by 3 points.

Now its squeaky-bum time.

Pressure is on chelsea now to keep it up.

It's nothing to do with the own goal (it could have been any three of the defenders who went for the ball - where was the call?) or even the reported big miss (which in reality was a great tackle)...

But why, and how, has Steven Gerrard got such a reputation as a great footballer?

To be honest, what I see is a player with a good, powerful shot and excellent long-range passing, but who gives the ball away far too often, is far from the most important Liverpool midfielder - that's Hamann, no doubt about it - who is prone to charging around the pitch like a headless chicken, and who often goes missing in big games (Olympiakos being an obvious exception).

He's never convinced me in an England shirt either.

I enjoyed the match.

I think Chelsea deserved the win but Mourinho created uneeded attention yet again. :)

Edit: I have to question Harry Kewell's fitness. He looked well out of condition.
