i have just read on the website about wednesdayite going to the papers with whats going on with them and the club, saying the club havent tried contacting, legal action not being resolved quick enough etc. now when allen was chairman, i was all for them not making it easy for allen getting the shares because i didnt trust him to get any investment when the club got them back but now i feel they are starting to get an the way. apparently one of the groups interested is concerned about it all. idont know who is telling the truth but wednesdayite going public with it, maybe making one of the investors think about pulling out, is not on. i really think they should keep quiet until its sorted, after all those shares were given by the club

It wont have any bearing on whether a takeover goes ahead or not, wednesdayite just wanted answers to a few questions that up until now have been ignored after several requests, that's how i read into it anyway.
I can't see anywhere in them stating they want to find out info on who's looking at taking us over.

i hope you're right. as i said before, i dont particulary trust what the club says but allen saying the last takeover falling through was down to their 10% does make me wonder. i didnt trust allen at all but at the same time i dont know whether wednesdayite making threats i going to make a difference, i hope it wont because if the takeover doesnt go through this time i fear for the worst

wednesdayite are not making threats, they just want promises made by the board at the last agm to be honoured.
the last takeover had nothing to do with wednesdayite not handing over their shares..that was just a red herring......prrrrrrrrrrofit.
dont believe everything you hear down at sheffield 6.

as i said, i dont particulary trust what the club says, i just dont want wednesdayite to mess up any take over. if it was allen saying it then theres no chance i'd believe it, just sometimes it seems like its wednesdayite v the club, dont want any potential investors to think that nd decide its ot worth the aggro

After a relatively peaceful AGM, shareholders have heard nothing from the board since. It's not a new tactic; deflect the flak and hope the discomfort will go away has long been the plan.
I'm an original shareholder but believe Wednesdayite is right in keeping the board on its toes. There was a concilliatory air at the AGM but as things have gone downhill, people need answers now, not at next season's AGM - that might be a bit too late!

agree, weve heard enough negative p.r from sheffield 6...wednesdayite did well to keep it at the fore front.
