View Full Version : Bramwell court in Netherthorpe? SParr 25-02-2005, 08:02 Does anybody know what Bramwell Court is like in Netherthorpe and whether the area is OK? thanks vision 25-02-2005, 08:29 Years ago the area was dodgy but since they pulled down some of the high rise, sorted some difficult council tenants and built the new little estate - Bramwell Gardens - which includes Bramwell Court, everything seems pretty ok there. I own 2 houses on the estate, one for 5 years and 1 for over 2 years and my tenants have not had any bother at all. The houses let very well, usually by word of mouth which must be a good recommendation. The flats are quite nice especially the top ones which also have a mezzanine floor. The only drawback that I know of is the bedrooms are small. There is a small double and very small single. I have noticed vast differences in the rentals asked. I would suggest not to pay more than £475 - £495. I have seen one at £650 which is ridiculous. I have also seen one lately selling for 120k. Again, ridiculous. That same one was up for sale about 18 months ago and I am sure they were asking around 90k and it didn't sell quickly. SParr 25-02-2005, 08:40 Thanks very much, that's really helpful |
