My friend fell whilst holding her laptop, and has broken the screen. It's a Dell Latitude. Is there anywhere in Sheffield that can repair screens at a reasonable price?
Thanks.

new screen, usually about £200. Easy to fit but can't be repaired if it's cracekd or the LCD is leaking / damaged.

Thanks folks. Screens are a bit pricey :wow:.
So, looks like buying a new laptop is the best way forward...........

you could use the lappy as a keyboard and use a normal monitor until it's fixed. There is a D-SUB 15pin socket on 99% of lappy's and is standard on dell.

Just an idea.
