Just wondering if you could tell me some good places to go
on a tuesday night? me and a few mates are coming to watch
arsenal vs sheff utd and want to go out after the game
as it's a tuesday we're expecting the nightlife to be pants
but maybe you know some places that ain't

Basically if you want somewhere lively in the City Centre on a Tuesday night you need to go to the student bars, try the top end of West Street, places such as the Cavendish.

Also venture down Division Street and Fitzwilliam Street to pubs such as the Frog & Parrot, Devonshire Cat and Washington.

Also maybe the Grapes on Trippett Lane if there is a band on.

Of course the other area which will be busy that night will be London Road with all the Blades, however if you are asking such a question on here I would guess you are an Arsenal fan, in which case that may not be too wise.....

If you are wanting to go to a club, Tuesday night can be difficult because it is all student nights, and the clubs often have a student only policy to avoid trouble - you may well find the only place you can get into is one of the lapdancing clubs - Spearmint Rhino or Dancing Dollar..... Or I guess you could try the Casbah, a rock bar that opens until about 1am.

Despite the above comments you may want to try your luck getting into the Leadmill nightclub for their 'Some Love' student night with their stupidly cheap drinks - details www.leadmill.co.uk

According to a little flyer thing that I have that suggests good clubs for everday of the week. On Tuesdays there's 'Some Love' at Leadmill http://www.some-love.co.uk/index.php and this http://www.neverstandstill.com/one/clubnights/tuesday at Gatecrasher One, which are both pretty good clubs imo (although Leadmill's my pref.)
