I loved the bit at the end where Carl's girlfriends mother went back to her husband as he was prepared to shoot Carl. She reckoned how could she keep away from her man when he was prepared to do that for her, crazy.:loopy::loopy:

They were role-playing to keep the marriage "alive" from what I could gather with that. Still funny though!

Am I the only one that misses some of the old characters though?

I get that they want the show to evolve, but it felt to me like they pruned out some of the best personalities.

Were they pruned out, or did they choose to leave?

I miss them, definitely, but I think that the new characters are brilliant and make up for them going.

They need to get rid of Mandy and the lady who lives outside in the van. Completely pointless characters.

She's called Norma hun - I think she's great - but then I love all the characters, I just adore the programme.

With you on the Sheila thing though - she was fab!

I think Norma is good when she is in it. But she is never given any juicy story lines. Don't you think they should either write her out or use her more? Some of the character just kind of hang around....Perhaps she could be given a council house and then marry a foreign person for money to get them in the country - only to find out they are an evil terrorist.....Or have they already done that?

Sheila was just priceless.
