Thanks. stardust 24-02-2005, 23:17 hi i am waiting to rehoused i have homeless priorty at the moment and been waiting and bidding since oct 2004 how about you, how long have you been waiting? i got told it all depends on what area you want jaye 25-02-2005, 07:31 Its my sister whos waiting, she still waiting to get a decision fron the homeless. She wants parson cross/ hillsborough. There a right joke, have you been waiting that long because your holding out for a decent area, or is it them just arsing about. I would love one of them to have to go through it. My sister needs a 3/4 bed house as well, so i take it she will be waiting a while then. Good luck stardust in finding somewhere. stardust 25-02-2005, 10:50 hi is your sister in hostel or has she been put into a temp house? i was homeless in oct, i have 2 kids and had to go into a hostel but was only there for 2 weeks, wheni was first homeless they told me i would be in b&b a couple of nights then intrim tem house for a few weeks while i bid, it took them around 5 weeks to give me homeless priorty ,now i am bidding on houses i bid everyweek on anything but still waiting, i have noticed that they are short of 3 bed houses and thats what i am waiting for, plus i am worried over my furniture as it all had to go in storage at £100 a week god knows how much the bill will be, in the end , i made a big mistake met a bloke moved in and then he decided he wanted some1 else so i had to move out as it was his house, i gave up my house down south to move here with him nevermind, i have my furniture and kids lol, tell your sister to keep phoning, as i was in hostel 1 room and i went mad on phone after phoning everyday to be told phone back tomorrow in the end i went mad at them and that afternoon they offered me a furnished temp house , so keep fighting. |
