What type of phone is it?


You will need a cable to connect them, or Bluetooth or Infrared on PC and phone.

LG 8120 - i've got the usb cable but once i plug it in, i dunno what to do. do i need to install some software? ta

I am no expert and don't have an LG Phone but I do know that Software does exist and some phones come with a CD.
look for:
"LG Phone Manager"
"LG Media Player"

Just as an offchance can you see it as a 'drive' in Windows Explorer? Then drag & drop.

Well i've installed all the software, but none of my pictures seem to be there to move to my computer

any ideas?

Leigh you need to set up the com port in the software and connect.

With the phone plugged into the lead and switched on open the LG Phone Manager, then from the menus at the top click on Transfer and then set com port. Make sure that the usb is selected as appropriate, find com 6 on the list and click ok. You should then be able to connect and pick up on the contents of the phone.

This doesn't always work the first time I seem to remember when I got mine I fiddled around for a while. Pm me if you want anymore help - I've got the 8120 and have had mine since the end of October last year. Nice phone.
