all of the sheffield college tutors were on strike today.
With most places being closed anyway, because of the weather it has made their strike a rather pointless effort today.
wonder if they'll choose extra days for striking.

Not that i dont agree with their cause i do.
Didnt it say on radio sheffield that they earn 10% less than
other teachers.

Or have i got this all wrong is it lecturer's on strike.

I was listening to something on Radio 4 yesterday and they were explaing that schools get more money than colleges for A-level students and that on average sixth form school teachers were paid more than the college lecturers.

Anyway, both the college teachers and lecturers are on strike
my son's just said . so thats probably the reason why- that you have just mentioned.
