8 players next weekend are playing in the "Hillfoot Badmintonathon" where we plan to play 2 games for over 24 hours. The aim is to break the current world record for the longest doubles badminton match. We are doing this to raise funds for the Childrens Heart Surgery in Leeds and the British Transplant Games being held in Sheffield this year.

We are currently looking for sponsors to supply shuttles for the event. Can anyone advise which companies in Sheffield may be able to offer support. We are looking for 6-8 tubes Mavis 300 meduim shuttles.

Failing our attempt to find a sponsor, does anyone know of anywhere cheaper than sports direct at £7 per tube?

Hi Lee, many thanks for the offer. We now have 6 tubes of shuttles loaned to us from the forum so we should be ok. We could probably do with some Red Bull though to keep us going through the night!! LOL!
