I mean the kind for babies. I want to put my new grandchild into towelling nappies and I am having a problem finding the good old fashioned rubbers. Mothercare only sell them with a nappy set, but i don't need that many nappies so I don't was a full kit thing.

Anyone got any ideas. In or around the Sheffield area Please

I think "real nappies" are quite high tech now, and there's no need for "rubber pants" - the Sheffield Real Nappy Network are probably a good place to start - there's even a council subsidy :http://www.srnn.co.uk/council.html

Hope this helps!

Rubber's bad stuff to expose a baby to, unless you want them to develop a latex allergy. I'd look for pants made from a more modern material, if there are such things.

you can buy tots bots wraps in lejurra on west street, as someone has mentioned nappies are alot more hi tech now and the old towelling nappy has been much improved. I use tots bots bamboozles for my baby which are made of bamboo and stay lovely and soft no matter how many times they are washed.
Real nappies are a commitment so its worth researching them and finding one that suits the baby and mum. If you google real nappies you'll get loads of info. Swaddlebees and tots bots have been my faves. Pm me if you'd like any more info.
