Big club, Wednesday???? :loopy:

I thought they were well supported?
Im sure Wednesday fans were ripping the pi** out of us when we only got 20 thousand for the Man City match.....

We get bigger crowds than Wednesday against flipping QPR :hihi:

if you look at the average attendances, utd have 25,113 and wednesday have 21,594 which isnt too bad seems were struggling, you have had near full attendance about twice, the rest you have had between 21k-24k ish, you say wednesday fans keep going on about attendances but utd fans are as bad as the wednesday fans that used to

utd had 1600 tickets at colchester, 800 seating and 800 STANDING could'nt believe that was stiil allowed...

i thought you had to be all seater in championship, maybe its just premiership. they are moving to a new ground next season though

You're allowed a first season with standing areas then if you stay up you have to convert it to seating. I think thats the rule

Attendances StevieB2007 ???????????
Let's bow to the mighty Blades fans eh ?
Sorry.... I mean fickle Blades fans !

Now put the current season in perspective:
Wednesday have got serious problems on and off the field so their attendances are not very good !
United are going straight back to the Premiership (PMSL) and so have had good attendances !
Now is that hard to understand ?

wednesday fans have stopped going because the club treats us like ****,i stopped going regulary a while back because i felt like i was being mugged off have done since dave richardson screwed us up and then became chairman of the premier league or whatever it is

Not going to go regularly again till they start spending money on players instead of selling our best players for nowt and loaning/signing numpties not fit to wear the shirt.

It hurts when the club you love is being run into the ground

Are you seriously trying to suggest that people should continue to give money to a chairman they believe is wasting it all? What would be the point?

Thing is though, Owls fans tried claiming at the begining of the season it was because Allen was in charge, now he has gone.....

that quote was one i would have said i take to the grave..... all my life ive been a obsessive wednesdayite.... but there comes a time when life gets to you and you just cant be there week in week out.... as cb says.... take the man out of sheffield but not the sheffield out of the man.... cb is one hell of a proud blade cos hes a sheffield lad... dont mean hes less a fan cos he dont go every week does it???

Not too long ago the blades were the 2nd team in this city, owls were on top form.... how many supporters did you get then..?? you come out of the f'in wood work when your avin a laugh, bit of money to splash round.... your avin a laugh with your self.... you aint impressive in this league.... you laugh at crowds... tell me this then why cant you beat a team with 5,695 as the att??
we are great at being the underachievers cos were skint, and im pleased we get the att; we do at hillsborough..... your the underachievers because.......??? loadsamoney???
smoke ya pie mate.... if you fall as at some point you will...again... who will stay supporting your blades???? time will tell.... swings and roundabouts mate.... as CB says...

So they could be 7 quid down on their finances each week:)
It does seem however that the blue lot have had misfortune where chairmen are concerned. Shame.

well theres not much chance of you doing that even if richard branson were chairman.

92 chairman in the league half a dozen will win something. shall the rest of us just pack it in and talk to you all day on here.

been watching united 38 years since i was 10. apart from county cup win at the sty in 78 (sabella got winner) and a fourth division title i've seen us do nowt and expect to go to my grave seeing us do nowt. its not always about the football its about meeting up with pals having a beer coach trips and weekenders with yer mates away from the mrs and kids for a break. and when you do take the kids watching their little faces when we score and that crappy music comes on and they do that daft dance. some on here blade and pig will know what i mean but somehow i dont think you will.

anyhow got to go now kids want a go on computer.

think i'll stop going and get my self a lap top.

Precisely you go for the entertainment.
I pay my money to watch my team and dont worry about how the ticket money is spent.
Most males still buy beer even though it is overpriced so what is the difference?
Back to the original question does it mean that the blue lot only had season tickety holders in the ground and no extra?
At the end of the day wendy fans either back the club and buy tickets for the game or not go as is the case and the club has no extra money.
