If you do a search in the Parenting Group, or in Going out in Sheffield, you will find lots of suggestions.

Just ignore the miserable so and sos who think parents and children should stay behind locked doors until our children are grown.

Kito's @ Woodseats is great with children. Also, kids eat free with adults ordering a starter and main meal on Sundays 5-7pm.

Jeez, their Chimichangas are lush.... But you need a fork lift to get you home afterwards because you're stuffed!

Any of the chinese buffett restaurants probs better earlier than later though although the Wong Ting and East one are just as cheap and the food is better IMO
Pub Coal aston with the ball pond which is BOGOF
Kitss (but you do need to book)
The Dilshad at woodseats were always accommodating, allowing an extra plate

We take our 1 and 2 year old to London Rd's Noodle Inn. They're really friendly in there to the kids and the food is genuinely some of the best in Sheffield.

I second this - the kids menu is great, and makes them feel very grow up. They get a mini 3 course meal for 4.95, and not a chicken nugget in sight!

Can anyone recommend anywhere that's child-friendly in the S6-S10 area? We have friends visiting with kids aged 4 and 6. Pub or cheap-ish restaurant would be great, but would prefer to avoid Aunt Sallys if at all possible!

I'm going to second this, I have children 2,6,9 and 10 years old boys and girls and they all love Meadow Farm, they've got a great play area for the little ones and playstations set up for the bigger ones and food is lovely, it's a little out of the way but it's worth it. :)

Bradfield Road Italian in Hillsborough, Sette Colli - we took our kids to a 6pm booking and they had highchairs and cooked our 3 year old a mini adult meal, rather than serving up 'kid food'... they were fab

The ranmoor tandoori on Fulwood Road, S10 have been welcoming my son since he was a bump. We've been going there regularly since he was born too! He's now 15 months and knows the menu! Every time we go, we see more kids there so word must be getting round.

There are quite a few places on London Road that are child friendly - Baan Thai, the turkish restaurant (can't remember the name). We've been to Damon's a few times too - it's popular with families - just a shame it doesn't have a kids play area/corner.
