I've just turned on to the Beeb, and the female presenter on Look North is actually MORE orange than good old Christa.

Is it the Makeup artist? Is Sunny Delight the sponsored studio refreshment? Is it the studio lights? Could our eyes have been lying to us all these times and Christa Ackroyd is actually a normal, healthy pallor?

Or maybe it's the colour settings on my TV... hmmm...

She leaned in a lot whilst talking. Kind've freaked me out - I have a 42" TV so everything is AMPLIFIED!! I scooched the sofa back a little...

Duck-egg blue tonight! As I've said before, I think she looks a pleasant person, I believe she's a very good reporter but I can't be doing with that ultra positive and chummy grinning when she's on the sofa. I heard her talking about diets "in our region" as if she's a native. Jenny Hill comes from Jersey!

One reporter in the snow was telling us we're in for some "icy temperatures". Please get it into your heads BBC/ITV staff that a temperature "is a number on a scale". It isn't warm, mild or icy - the weather may be, the temperature is a number; paint, scratch, chalk or otherwise!

How many stories about L**ds did they have tonight? Honestly, there was a MURDER up Woodseats last week, here in Sheffield, and they had all of 30 seconds coverage of it! Yet they spent considerably longer discussing the fact that Leeds United will be getting a new Manager soon! What the chuff?!

Jenny Hill is on the late Look North news, and as was the case last week, her make-up looks hideous. It's overdone on her face and the neck isn't done. Maybe at this time of night, they have to do their own? But, WATCH OUR LIPS, Jenny - it needs attention!

I wouldn;t say there was an excess of orange skin on Look North, but it's rumoured that last year Paul the Weatherman was admitted to St James Hospital in Leeds suffering from passive tanning.......
