I used to work on Prospect Rd, Heeley in 1975/6 and used to buy the sandwhiches at a corner shop on the bottom of Richards Rd and Prospect Rd roughly where the farm is now.
Can anyone remember it and the name of the woman who would have been in her late 50s then who owned it.

Could it be F Clarricoates grocer 55 Prospect rd corner of Richards Rd.:suspect:
as at 1972.

It may have been but that name does not ring a bell.
The shop was demolished in 1976 along with most the area.
