Does anybody know if there was a tank (military) manufacturer in Queens Road Sheffield?

Dont know about tanks , but know many of Sheffields "old" trams were built at Central Works on Queens Road during the 40s,50s, occupying the large site where the "Netto" and other retail outlets are. Maybe they could have had the odd tank in for repairs ect?:suspect:
