Jeez, who's not been in the position of being tied up?!? Maybe not directly after an argument, and definately not with someone you don't trust, but I would have thought most people had done this?

ermmm! well no ... but then, I'm not the trusting type ...

my point actually was that having had a major row with someone and said you were leaving them ... would you really then let them tie you up?

The least that might have happened was being left there for a day or so ... as it was he might have died ...

i repeat - what was he thinking - or rather what was he thinking with ... :D

Sadistic sex might be the norm for some, but not all.

you saying you wouldn't be interested in a bit of kinky sex with a hot woman? and here was me thinking you was a hot blooded male t020 :P

personally I've never done the whole tied up / handcuffed thing, but I know I probably wouldn't say no if I was in a r/ship with the person and the subject came up... but I'd make sure I was in her good books first :P

There is nothing to say that tying someone up is about sadism. It can be a very sensual experience, especially when it is with someone that you love, and you know each others boundaries, and what they find pleasurable!

I'm guessing that with an attitude like yours it's hard to meet someone / keep someone in a relationship? Have you ever had sex with someone you loved?

Come on Granny, I don't think being tied up is sadistic, as much as a bit of harmless fun... well, maybe not harmless in this case... and you might be surprised how 'norm' it is in our 'community'. :D

t020

Ok maybe sadistic was an exaggeration but I can't really see any fun in it either, personally.

i'm always surprised at how a thread taken from the net about a "news" story becomes so personal so quickly on this forum ... I was just having a little joke about people being easily led .... and t020 admitted he maybe exaggerated what he posted as sadistic.

Surely though, we all realise that what's the "norm" for one may not be the "norm" for others ... maybe stop with the personal name calling some of the time at least ...?

just because t020 and others don't find anything interesting in something you enjoy doesn't mean you have to stereotype them ... i think talking about elbow patches and slippers and calling someone granny is quite pathetic here honestly.

Suppose you'll all flame me now and say you were being ironic or joking or something ... and you didn't really mean it at all in the way it sounded ... yeah right ...

Nope, I meant it exactly the way it sounded, but if you don't know the relationship between two people on here then maybe you shouldn't comment on how pathetic people are. Not everyone is flaming or trying to insult people.

True, I'm not aware of the relationships between those of you who've posted on this thread ... I do know none of the people who commented on this thread know me at all, Snook and I don't know any of you either ... and as I'm never likely to - I can only base my opinions on the postings i see ...

Like some other people who post on this forum, I may be too quick to jump to conclusions ... but i do try not to be discourteous ... if in this case I've been so - I apologise ...

btw don't wanna be in a beach house with you anymore ... changed my mind - you're not at all funny and you don't make me laugh .... (takes bat and ball home) oooohhhh! (comes back and takes stumps too)

Its a bit pathetic for a lass to act like that though is it not.
God- just because they were going to split.. does not really give her the right to nearly kill the guy.

There is some weird women - and men - in this world I gotta say.

They do say though - hell hath no fury like a woman scorned!-
Damn right in this case.

She sounds a right bunny boiler though.

Can you imagine how BORING the forum would be if we all got on? Where would we be without the moronic posters that have us all jumping for our keyboards?

As long as it stays with healthy banter, live and let live is what I say!

Should have the same sentence as for a man who cuts part of a womans body off (say a breast).

But that won't be the case, will it? In the back of their minds, some people still regard a case like this as the man's fault for allowing a woman to assault him in such a way.

calling it sadistic immediately made anyone who has or would indulge in it defensive, hence the insults. Sadly it's about what i'd expect.

They will, but thats because men are supposed to just stand there and let women attack them, we are all taught from day 1 that hitting a woman is a no-no, even in self defence.

There was the story a bit back about a man stabbed 50-odd times with a pair of scissors by his wife while he slept, even when he woke up he did nothing to fight back, she didn't have a mark on her, yet she claimed to be the victim (he hadn't been abusing her for years either, they had just fallen out over something).

My point exactly...It's only a film scene, but I still wince when the guy gets kicked in the groin over and over in Mallrats...If that had been a guy striking a woman the scene would never have made it into the movie.

The number of times I've suggested that it would be beneficial for the male of the species to be able to pull his woefully exposed genitalia into his groinal cavity...if only it were possible!

Some martial arts train you to be able to pull your testicles into your body.

I don't know Carmine, it probably wouldn't be the case as you say, but it certainly should be. It all just seems like double standards to me.

Men and women are as capable of feeling pain (after having bits hacked off) as each other ...

If anyone would like to learn to overcome your inhibitions in hitting girls feel free to attend the Sheffield Uni or Sheffield Hallam Jiu Jitsu clubs.

If you don't hit the girls, they'll certainly hit you, after a while you forget that they're a girl (probably from the concussion).

In an ideal world, I'd prefer not to have to hit anyone...but as a realist I'm willing to settle instead for no one wanting to hit me!

so your saying men should hit girls first because there certainly going to hit you one day anyway  self defence is a different subject to lashing out.

what are you on about?
I'm talking about at a martial arts class.

Self defence would actually cover you hitting someone first if you believed they were about to assault you, although I don't think that's what you were getting at.

It's very wrong on both accounts but ... Very little is spoken about the male as a victim of domestic abuse - In nearly one third of all cases it's the fella that's the victim; http://extranet6.kent.gov.uk/kcc/ss/Dom_Violence/male_victims.aspx

and that's just the ones that report it, i would guess that men are much more likely to not report being the victim
