New England Patriots V New York Giants.

I'm a Giants fan but I have to concede that the Patriots are going to win on Sunday unless a miracle happens.

The Patriots had better win. Although I was suprised that the Giants managed to beat the Packers!

I think the pats will breeze over the giants- i thought a packers v pats superbowl would be great though :(

The Patriots are beatable. Four teams could have beaten them this year but didn't quite manage it - the Giants being one of them, 35-38.

I still expect them to win, but massive favourites don't have too good a record in Super Bowls. (New York Jets, anyone?)

True. The giants have surprised me by getting this far. I didn't think they would get a wild card spot a few weeks ago

I was looking forward to that as well. However it should still be a good game, the Giants defence is pretty good at the moment and Manning is pretty much on form.

Hope that Brady gets a chance to utilise Moss a bit more than he has been able to recently though. Although Mouroney (sp) and Gaffney have been doing the business.

...does anyone know if it's on any of the free channels?

I enjoy watching this but I don't have SKY anymore as I'm too poor, would love to watch it live though.

I've watched it from start to now....

What a strange sport, I've watched it before, and don't wanna start slagging it off, but......

I understand it, but this really is a tactical game. I'm watching in snatches because I know it really isn't a good match to watch.

What IS good, is that both sides are having to change tactics, and not stick to one game plan.

The problem for me, as an ex-rugby player, is that it's now too stop/start. Even more than before.

Giants close to a BIG sack there.

I know what you're saying. I'm going to see it out.

(as a side note, whilst watching it, I've Google Earthd Glendale,AZ... that's worth a look, I've never seen anything like it, it's like a real life SIM City. :o (still not found the stadium though:rolleyes:))

The Giants are in red and white, and the underdogs! Does this not remind you of another team?

I'm a Packers man myself really, as they're the only side owned by the fans.

I wouldn't normally care, but I liked it in 'Patriot land', when I visited....

Last chance here maybe!!

Part of me still wants to say it was obstruction though. I'd have loved to have thumped someone like that when playing rugby.

We were only allowed to do that when punching people when they WEREN'T wearing helmets ..........

And the miracle did happen, what a great 4th quarter

Was a fantastic game. Fair play to the Giant's but it would have been fantastic if Brady had managed to throw to Moss in those last 30 seconds.

It was an incredible game. I'm not a Giants fan but I desperately didn't want the Pats to win it and go 19-0* so was cheering on every Giants play.

Their defence was outstanding and completely outplayed Brady and the rest of the Pats offence... and that four quarter... what a roller-coaster!

Awesome - so glad I took today off work so I could stay up and watch it all.

American football is one of the most over rated sports, and as for the superbowl, I have more enjoyment going for a dump than watching that

Thank you for your contribution.
Some of us are fans, I've been following the sport since Channel 4 first started the coverage years ago and I'm a fan, I also like Baseball, Football, Rugby League and Union, Cricket, Athletics, Darts, Snooker, Pool, Gaelic Football and pretty much any other sport that doesn't involve animals.
Having a dump can be a very enjoyable experience as can American Football and last night was a classic.
This was a bit like watching the Liverpool + Wimbledon FA cup final and I'm sure any fan who likes competitive sport would appreciate just how tense the final quarter was and the fact that what is seen is as one of if not the best team the sport had ever see had got turned over.
