Hi i hope noone minds me posting :)

I have a friend who crochet's (have no idea how to Spell it sorry ) and she has been making me blankets to take to the sheffield pound for the dogs as they don't have very much in the way of comfort.

I don't want to tread on any toes as i know K9 knitters request donations of wool, but i wondered if anyone had any spares they would be willing to donate even odds and ends as my friend is happy to tie pieces together. Colour doesn't matter although it needs to be thicker wool rather than the thin stuff.

Alternatively if anyone could point me in the direction of some cheap wool i could buy for my friend so she can continue to make blankets as the dogs really have very little :(.

Thank you very much
Helen

Helen, my toes are completely un-trodden on!

I would recommend freecycle as a source for wool - as there are some lovely people out there who will have some to give your friend.

If you get no joy from that, PM me your/your friend's address and I'll drop some of the k9knitters wool off with you. After all, rescue dogs will benefit - so that's just fine by us!!

Cheers, Carrie (@ k9knitters)

Hi Mary poppins my friend has just been doing a rectangular shaped blanket. She has done small and larger ones for the dogs beds as there are different sized dogs in different sized beds. Colour etc. doesn't matter at all i am sure the dogs don't mind lol.
Thanks for the kind offer.

Wheezy it would depend where in rotherham you are could you pm me along with how much you have. I may be able to get someone from Rotherham to collect if you are miles from me.

Thanks Helen
