Never been on the course but have stayed at a hotel across the road so I decided to look in this morning to see the weather and towers. I couldn't have picked a better moment. The very first shot I saw was that cheerful Montgomery going into the brink and then seemingly appearing to have something to say to nearby spectators.
I know someone - etiquette-minded - whom Monty had words with at Wentworth, at the World Matchplay, because he claimed the bright yellow tie he was wearing had distracted him whilst putting.
