I'm looking for a restaurant in Sheffield for my husbands 40th Birthday. I want some really good food in a relaxing atmosphere. There will be about 10 adults - no real tight budget willing to pay for good food and the right place. Can anyone recommend somewhere? We go on and around Ecclesall road alot ( as we live close ) so somewhere different?:help:

I'd definitely give The Ivory (just off Glossop Road) a try - relaxed, music (piano etc.) Here (http://www.sheffield-central.com/restaurants.htm)

How about Moran's on Abbeydale Sth? Brought my parents there recently and we were absolutely delighted with the food and friendliness...would happily recommend them to anyone!

Antibo has never let us down.Recently we celibrated the birthday of someone from work. The place had a great atmosphere, and they were able to deal with the 14 of us in a very smooth manner.Service was to a very high standard and the food was amazing.I had the venison and was most impressed.
