Does anyone know of anyone who could give us impartial advice on mortgages? It would need to be someone with an idea about the house markets in Sheffield.

I am not tied to any bank or building society so I can shop the whole market for the best deal. There's no fee for the service I provide because I get paid through commision from the mortgage. Feel free to PM me or call me on 07930 189833. Thanks - Martin pippip 01-02-2008, 17:41 Try SIMPLICITY, 08456886168 A Sheffield firm pegmosaic 02-02-2008, 13:31 Come and see me at work! We are the largest independant mortgage broker in south yorkshire with over 200 lenders and over 15, 000 mortgage products! PM me! Mynois 03-02-2008, 22:36 Hi Chris I'm not a mortgage advisor, but have recently moved and used a fantastic company based out of Worksop. They could not have been any better if they'd tried! I can also recommend using the solicitors we used as well because they were fantastic and made the paperwork side of things very easy and proved to be cheaper than all the others we spoke to when we rang round. I'm new to this forum, so I'm a little hesitant to put other people's names and contact details on, but drop me and IM and I'll happily tell you more and give you their details. Cheers Myn shlg 04-02-2008, 08:34 I too have a really good independant financial advisor who I've used for my mortgage and accompanying life insurance: pm me and I'll give you his details. Smack Jack 05-10-2009, 18:08 Could I go and see an advisor when I'm not there yet. I have only 4000 in my deposit fund currently but as I will be a first time buyer I'd like someone to advise me about my situation - as in what I need to do to get approved. Not just what I need to save Marcin 07-10-2009, 11:06 I recently purchased a property and my mortgage advisor put me on a scheme where I didn't have to put a deposit at all. He spend time to research various first time buyer schemes. I would recommend you to contact my advisor if you need help beyond mortgages. NewUpNorf 07-10-2009, 12:44 Even if you go to a mortgage advisor- it helps to go to banks and see what they offer too, as some do not pass on their offers to the advisors. I bought my house in July and went to HSBC as that is my current bank. When I saw an independant advisor later, he told me he didnt get results from HSBC and admitted the mortgage they were offering me was actually the best one for my needs. So my advice, do your homework first and find out what is out there, then take this to your mortgage advisor. Good luck! Not just what I need to save Hi, yes you can speak to an advisor at this stage. If you want give me a call on 07515366251, I have given advice to a few forum members and have had recommendations for me posted on the forum. Danny. Marcin 08-10-2009, 13:38 Finding an advisor is not a problem any more, the market is congested with either independent mortgage advisors or tied advisor with banks or building societies. What is important is for the advisor to think out side the parameters and offer bespoke service not only in recommending the best mortgage but also finding the appropriate schemes and avenues for your circumstances. My broker not only processed my mortgage application but he also assisted me in finding a property, he helped me to raise the deposit, negotiated the best price for me and most importantly facilitated the whole process. He professionally took care of all negotiation with government schemes, estate agents, solicitors and the intermediaries. I had to pay a broker fee and I have no regrets what so ever because he negotiated a £10,000 reduction in the property for me which I would not have done myself. Always remember that the advisor you choose needs to be more than a basic mortgage advisor. I wasnt being funny or trying to catch you out, it was a serious question as I had seen you advertising elsewhere on the forum as someone who helped house and get mortgages for Polish people. |
