I joined VA at the weekend, it looked great and all that but when I went tonight I couldn't get on any of the equipment I wanted to use which was a bit of a pain. I was wondering if there is a cooling off period in which to cancel my membership (its just the monthly one), as its not much use if I can't use it when I go. Somehow I left without any information which was a bit daft of me...

Can't see there being a cooling off period.

By mid february most of the 6 week wonders will have stopped going, and most of the equipment will become available

6 week wonders = people who sign up in the new year for new years resolutions, pack the gym out and get in everyones way. 6 weeks after the new year, you wonder where they've all gone.

these guys weren't members of the resolution crowd, I'm certain of that.
Speaking to some other members/friends I've been told it was just freakishly busy down there.
Thanks anyway, I'm stuck for a month now anyway, I'll reconsider where I train after that.
