dont know how this has happened it was ok a few days
ago I have not touched any settings. Everything ok on

It sounds to me that you have accidentally changed the font size in your browser.
This can easily happen if you hold down the ctrl key while scrolling you middle mouse wheel.
An alternative way of changing the text is:
IE: View...Text Size...Normal
Mozilla: ctrl & + to increase, ctrl & - to decrease.
