I haven't been able to get a Haynes Manual, so need help. On a 1.24L 1998 Fiesta Zetec, where is the air filter and how do you change it please.

This (http://www.filterpower.co.uk/kn_induction/files/57-0347.pdf) is actually a page that describes making modifications, but in Photo A, you will see the arrow number 2 pointing to the 'airbox'.
Your filter should be hiding in there.

You'll find the air filter housing case directly behind the passenger headlight, to the right of the battery. Unscrew the two screws and remove the upper casing, remove filter......etc job done :D
