No, it's a look at how images can be manipulated item. The BBC are trying to show how the media can manipulate images, it just goes to show that you never know if the person you see on the cover of a magazine actually is the person you see on the cover of a magazine.

No, they really don't. Lots of the photoshopped images are badly done at best.

Magazines do a much better job, mainly because you hardly notice. I expect whoever did this was exaggerating the changes they would normally make so people could easily see them. Or they need to stop photoshopping now, because they're not impressing me or anyone used to image alteration

no but its nice to see that all these models you see actually may not be that skinny, or have that flawless skin! definately makes me feel a bit more confident about myself, as im not 6 foot tall, nor a size 8!
