Any suggestions for where to organise an Xmas do this year?

My office has been to Baldwins' for the past two years. '06 was really good fun, but a year on and the dj is rubbish. Really good food but the atmosphere was killed by him trying to play 'up to date music', as a result you've got a huge range of age groups trying to dance to gangsta rap and RnB. Just stick with the cheesy Christmas classics we all know and love!

The most popular venues get booked up very quickly for the fridays/saturdays around christmas, as a consequence, we usually have our on a thursday and suffer the wrath of hangovers at work the next day!

Comedy Club Last Laught in Millenium Hall is good, don't think they start booking early though, Disorganisation = city hall.
