At this time of year there are always spare seats. Then taxi from Notts or Mansfield to Sheffield. I live for three months in Greece then three months back home in Sheffield; Having made the journey over fourteen times now (mid February next) I have found this way to have the best cost/convenience offset. Diamond55 29-01-2008, 21:14 try gerrys travel 0114 2340098 or 07950765962 they are efficient reliable and very competitive with prices Heyesey 30-01-2008, 04:35 Train from Luton Airport Parkway to Sheffield could be as little as seven pounds each, if you book far enough in advance. It could be close to £100 if you're making the journey later today (my sister lives in Luton and I book that trip regularly). Sissi 30-01-2008, 18:00 My plane arrives at 22:45, so there is no train at this time. Thank you all for the reply. National Express coaches go from Luton to the north of England THROUGH THE NIGHT, and cost between £14 and £25. You might get one directly to Sheffield, or failing that you will at least be able to get to Nottingham or Mansfield. Then taxi. Total trip will cost about £40. ricky36 30-01-2008, 18:42 ..Walk out of the arrivals terminal and you are looking directly at the coach park. in the middle of this coach park is the National Express stop.
