Hope he settles well and getsa new home really quickly
thank goodness you have managed to foster him, - no doubt he will get rehomed a lot quicker because of it, even though its harder work - its 10 times better if you can manage it.
well done
Well done Shullie! You're a soft touch - our daft dobermutt would sulk and pout like the dramaqueen she is if we ever tried to bring another dog into the house - she tolerates the growing number of cats though, which is a good thing. I hope Bert and your girl settle their differences soon - there'll be a lot of attention-seeking and 'this is MY chewie, MY bed, and MY mum n dad' for a while, but I bet the big soft teddy-bears will be busom buddies before too long. Good luck finding him a new home too. I've just parted with my 2nd foster-cat this week and just had an email from her new family saying she is settling in well. I was so pleased- you can't help fretting when they go so it's nice to get some feedback and reassurance. No doubt there'll be another one along shortly.
We have come far in the last few days, especially when they first met on Monday it was tears before bedtime... today we can now spend time together one in the lounge and one in the kitchen, with the door open with the baby gate... noses touching at times... we have walked side by side, sat side by side and played with each other (on leads) on the field, and in the garden. we taking it slowly so day by day.. no rush.. at their pace, though today was nice to see :) Shea is doing really well - this is her home and she has had free reign... lol, but the upside is she gets to sleep in our room with us at present, which up to now she wasn't allowed to...lol That might be hard to stop later...lol :) I don't think she would let a cat in here though....

Oh yes... Been there, done that- try getting the daft dobermutt OFF the bed and OUT of the bedroom now. No chance.
Told you you're a soft touch!
Glad to hear they're starting to make friends. Should be easier with them being girl/boy.
