i have got a new disc for microsoft works,do i need to remove all the old microsoft before i install the new dis, or will it do it automaticaly

Definetly remove the old one first and do a restart (to ensure the registry is flushed).

Then install the new one.

Go to START..SETTINGS..CONTROL PANEL..ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS

and just look for Microsoft Works 4.5 and remove.
