I deleted a folder yesterday and system restore isn't working to any restore point for some reason. Is there anyway I can get it back??

I've used http://www.softperfect.com/products/filerecovery/ for recovering files very successfully in the past. You'll probably have to recreate the directory yourself. Obviously the more you use the disk the less chance you have of recovering the data easily.

Don't think System Restore can restore things you've deleted - unless it was part of the Windows system.

There's a free program called RESTORATION that works quite well for file recovery. Like fnky says though, as you use the drive you're potentially writing over the deleted files.
