And it's pears!
I've just eaten a rather lovely Doyenne du Comice pear and found myself with a dribbling, begging hound by my side- apparently she really loves them!
Aware as I am about the risks of eating the pips, I've just sat with a knife and sliced a pear for her and she's just eaten a whole pear out of my hands.
This is a dog who leaves her entire dinner if you put a piece of potato/cauliflower/carrot/rice/whatever on top of the dog food!
Strange creature.
