Bit embarrassing this but can anyone recommend a good place in Sheffield that does permenant hair removal (upper lip)?
Also, does anyone know a really good place for bikini waxing (Hollywood / Brazilian)? Have tried Poseurs, which was complete & utter rubbish. My local salon is alright, but not great & won't do a Hollywood (ALL off, for those who were wondering!)
PM me if you don't want to reply to the thread in public!!
Cheers girls :)

Terra,
I use a home waxing kit for my bits. That way I can ensure that all areas are de-forrested without the embarrasment of bareing all to a stranger. Oh btw, I am male, I dont know why you your message was just for the ladies. lol.
Good luck in your quest. Let me know how you get on.

Thanks for your reply, but home waxing is definitely out of the question! It hurts too much and I find all the angles are wrong when you do it to yourself.
Didn't think many men went in for bikini waxing, cheers for putting me straight :)

Upper lip, you could have a look at electrolysis or laser removal, but feel this is more of a cosmetic surgical procedure.

The laser light beam penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the pigment colour in the hair where it is converted to heat, which travels down the hair shaft to the hair root and destroys it so that further hair cannot grow. Because hair has different growth phases and the treatment only works in the active growth phase, several treatments are necessary to achieve a lasting result. The number of treatments needed will depend upon the hair density, colour, skin type and treatment area, together with ethnic background and hormones. Typically 6 or 8 treatments are required in a white skin and maybe 8 or 10 in a darker skin.

You can go at a Hypotricolegist (not sure of spelling) did it years ago but it did hurt, you have to keep going back lots of times before it's removed for good, i went twice only, that was enough for me, lazer is the newest way, but it's very expensive and on'y removes the dark hairs, if you have a few grey facial hairs, dosen't work on them
I found out by accident that a couple of neurofen half an hour before hair stripping really helps
