Hi there,
New to the forum, and wondering if anyone may be able to help regarding some family tree research I'm doing.
I'm looking to track down an Arthur Chadwick, who was born in 1896. He spent most of his life at a single address in Sheffield. My mum tells me she'll know the name of the street when she hears it. If anyone happens to have a Kellys from the 1950's or 1960's, would you mind looking up an Arthur Chadwick and letting me know the street addresses for any you may find?

1948 Kelly there are two Arthur Chadwick's in the alphabetical part
44 chadwick road woodthorpe sheff 2
85 brookhouse hill sheff 10 this one listed as a manager
to search the rest you would have to know the road, mmmmm

In the 1954 Kellys, only the Brookhouse Hill Arthur Chadwick.

Thanks for the response... anyone have access to a slightly later Kellys? Late 50's, early 60's?
retep - we've picked up his parents on the 1891 census at 84 Adday Street... is that the one you were referring to?
Hi the 1957 Kelly's list a Arthur at 7 Cawthorne grove s8 not there in 1963 or 1972 but is in 1954 in 1940 it is Brookhouse hill, remember not everyone was listed mainly private residents and trade :thumbsup:

I have Kelly's 1969 and he's not in there either.

Are Kelly's or White's directories available to search on line any later than 1911? It would be nice to find out who lived in our humble abode in the past.
