Hi!! You could try The Deepend at Hillsborough. They used to have an open session for musicians at least once a week, not too sure of the days though. Also, the Broadwalk near West Bar is another bar/pub that promotes music at local level, try them also!!!! I hope this helps!!!!

The Art Room- Campo lane - Sunday Afternoon
Deep End - Hillsboro- Not sure of day, may be Sun Eve

Both are hosted by Julian Jones and Russ from Lazy Dollies

Rockingham Arms at Wentworth have lots of acoustic gigs, may get a support slot there.

Deep End - Tuesday nights (tonight wey hey!!) is Jam night all welcome and they have the kit set up on stage. The Deep End used to have a night called 'Naked' just for original material once a month, but I think thats now run from 'The Art Room'.

The Dog & Partridge on Trippet Lane also has a session tonight for anyone to go and join in. Might even venture out me'sen for a strum in the dog later!!!

Wednesday 26th January there's an Open Mic Night at The Bull's Head, Ranmoor. You're more than welcome to join us. Whether you want to bring your acoustic or play one of my electrics is totally up to you. If you want to air your own songs, fine.

I'm organising it and taking my PA system in along with a microphone, two electric guitars (Gibson and Epiphone), electric/acoustic (Takamine) and keyboard (Yamaha).

Now's the time to step out into the spotlight! I reckon it will commence from 8 but probably not get going till 9.

And it's all to raise money for Tsunami appeal. You can't lose can you?!

Depends where you're coming from I suppose. A number 60 bus from town, or if in car, through Broomhill but straight on (follow signs to Fulwood) as opposed to A57 (Crosspool and Manchester Road).
