Well, i've recently gone out and bought a couple of compilation CD's. Clubbers Guide 2008 and No. 1 Electro House album.

I've noticed, the Clubbers Guide 2008 has a lot of what I would class more as 'Progressive' House rather than 'Electro' House (it's all just House really I suppose).

So, what do you think? Am I just being daft with my genres (probably), or do you think there is a shift more to Progressive stuff?

I suppose the other option is that the Electro stuff coming out at the moment isn''t that great (a bit like the Dizzee Rascal mix above).

Yeah you're right there discodown, if you like it, what does it matter. I like both. I was just wondering what people thought.

And Alastair, most of the commercial stuff (Booty Luv, fedde le grand (probably not all his stuff), all the crap remixes of high pitched singing over a decent song etc.) is absolute trash, but there's a lot of less well known electro which is great. :nod:
