Help! I need opinions from more experienced chart readers than me. I've started the Anastasia (http://www.pepperknit.com/patterns/anastasia.html) Sock pattern and have just got to where I need to start doing the spiral pattern. First of all, I thought charts were always read right to left but it doesn't appear so on this one. The stitches that are represented on the chart appear to be the 30 instep stitches. I assume you just knit the other 30 sole stitches (all of the pics I've looked at don't have the spirals on the sole). On the chart it says to knit every odd row....I'm not sure whether this is referring to the 'row' of knit stitches for the sole, or whether I have to knit a whole new complete round.
E.g, spirals on the instep as charted, knit the sole, then knit a whole new round
OR
spirals on the instep as charted, then knit the sole, then back to the chart for the instep and so on.
Opinions anyone?
