Hi! My son's on holiday in Spain right now and we've just bought a copy of FIFA 2005 to play on his (Spanish) xbox. Only problem is, it's in Spanish......does anyone know if there's a language setting so we can change it into English?

It's not just the instructions etc that are written in Spanish, it's all the verbal stuff (commentary etc) too....

BTW, the settings on the xbox are in English, and we've also bought Rally Challenge 2 and that's automatically in English, presumably because the xbox settings are now in English?

Thanks!!

Can you see any text on the main menu along the lines of...

"¡Ayuda de la ayuda! No pensé esto a través correctamente. Ahora me pegan con una copia de un juego en español que no entiendo. Haga que todo va inglés."

;)

Failing that, I'd reckon that the Spanish version of the game is Spanish only.
Now if you had an 'upgraded' XBOX, you could FTP in and look to see whether there are any 'English' files.

No - the 'main menu' is just a panel with half a dozen of short options offering for eg 'player options' 'create player' etc
(only in Spanish lol)

Any ideas where we should be looking to find the words you suggested, if not in the Main Menu?

Otherwise, does 'upgraded' mean 'chipped'?

Oh and thanks very much for the response!

....or do you mean 'live'? It is a 'live' xbox - but we need to get connected to the internet.

So, thank you very much for your comments! We'll ftp in and have a look for the files.

Thanks again.

If you'd translated the text you may not be thanking me.
I feel a bit guilty now :S

Serously though, FIFA2k5 probably won't be a multi-language title.

You could always try to get shut of it on http://www.ebay.es/ .....
or learn Spanish. ;)

Hehe - it looks to me m8e as tho your Spanish - or is it your English? - is dodgy! :"¡Aid of the aid! I did not think this to bias correctly. Now they hit me with a copy of a play in spanish that do not understand. Do that all goes English." Where the heck did you get it from???!!

But seriously - yes you should be feeling guilty! My poor boy!Fortunately you didn't give me rude phrases, so thanks be for that :)

But anyway. We took your ftp suggestion seriously and apparently (against the odds?) it's a decent suggestion. My boy, meanwhile, is getting used to the sound of the Spanish language and I expect him to be fluent in it very shortly. Even if all he can do is shout insults at the ref.......

If nothing else, you responding so soon after we posted the post (and it was a shot in the dark after all, we still haven't heard anything from the enquiries we made on the exbox forum) has given him an insight of the power of the internet community So thank you m8e for that.
