we were with plus net but cancelled that to go with talk talk and its crap
so which one's the best at the moment ?

Depends what you use it for, and if you want inclusive phone/calls etc... or if your using it for gaming

NewNet (http://www.newnet.co.uk/) for myself, 2 years, no problems and tops speeds at all time. :)

a variety of packages with good support and very happy customers.

try redten.....been with them nowfor over a year with no probs and a free pc& 19inch tft thrown in..(great for the lil ones) Only downside is that its a 3 year contract...

I use BE it is very good great speeds and good customer service they even text you and tell you when they are performing routine maintenance very happy with em

If I may ask why did you leave plusnet, been with them for a couple of years and very satisfied. Not the cheapest/fastest/most gb but reliable and good support IMO.

Depends what you mean by "best"! If you really want the best, reliable service then you have to pay for it... Andrews and Arnold are a very professional outfit, but what are your needs?

Personally, I've been with Pipex, BT, AOL and various fly-by-night ISPs... But these past 6 years I've been with Plusnet and have had no issues with them. The only thing I would say against them is that you shouldn't rely on their e-mail service as your prime address, but since I went to Gmail that has not been a problem.

My BT 8Mb connection is excellent. Downstream is 6.8Mb usually and never drops.

They are certainly not the cheapest and the customer service is bloody awful! Finding someone on their customer service helpline who can speak English is an achievement but I can't fault the connection.

Pipex,never had any problems whatsoever.I've got all calls and unlimited broadband.
