Hi,

My name is Pete, I am writing to see if theres any sci-fi fans out there.

I run a society called STARS which is affiliated with the Sheffield University Student Union full of people who get together, watch and talk about sci fi and organise social events.

Currently we are watching all sorts of shows, particularly new shows such as Battlestar Galactica and Firefly and older stuff like Farscape, Stargate and Star Trek.

If anyone is interested in coming along, having a few beers and meeting some new people then feel welcome to come along to the next meeting or send me an email.

By the way, I'm not a student I work down in the town so if you are not a student: there are enough non students here as well.
