I dropped my iPod a few days back and it now seems very sad.

I have found a few online iPod repair shops, but I would much pref to find one in Sheffield...

Any suggestions?

I know how to reset etc, this looks like the HD is knackd - I just get the unhappy face icon on start up. Woe indee.d

There are various ipod tools for recovering / repairing ipods, and reinitializing them, there's tools, tutorials, and stuff online, just Google for ipod recover, or ipod repair, there area also tips and things on the apple website..

Presumably you've been tried Apple themselves...? (upstairs in Meadowhall)
