I bought a laptop 2 weeks ago from pc world, today it fell off a chair and part of the corner chipped off, i presume that i would not be able to take it back?

It doesn't effect the working off it, it's just a little chip on the corner of the laptop, i might end up selling it.

You could try taking it back but i doubt they'd believe it came in the box like that... and esp that it'd taken you 2 weeks to realise and bring it back.

I think your best option is to live with it. It's only cosmetic damage.

Wow, that must've gone with quite a bang.

You sure there's no other damage to the machine?

If it is really only 2 weeks old, and the only problem is that chipped casing then £300 seems a very fair price for it...

I wouldn't buy a laptop if I knew that it had fell off a chair, you don't know what internal damage it may have suffered.
